Napier is an American jewellery maker in operation since 1878 when it began making gilt watch chains. It began making costume jewellery in the 1920s and quickly became a phenomenon, with silent film stars like Lana Turner and Sonja Henie sporting its Art Deco designs. Napier jewellery remained hugely popular until its demise in 1999 and is now one of the most collectable costume jewellery brands of the 20th Century.
